ABOUT SANDI
Hello, I am Sandi Menzel, founder and owner of Oswego Massage and Rehab located in downtown Oswego at 73 W. Van Buren Street. I also offer outcall services to homes, offices and living facilities, and events. I am a National Board Certified professional therapist, attended an accredited school of bodywork and natural health, and I am licensed by the State of Illinois, Department of Professional Regulation.

My degree is in Business Management and I had a great corporate career prior to following my passion to natural health and bodywork. During my corporate career I was studying reflexology with the International Institute of Reflexology. I realized that I wanted to expand my hands-on education to provide healing natural therapies for wellness. For all of my adult life I have been involved in natural health - teaching nutrition and wellness classes, becoming a certified aromatherapist, studied herbology, and more. I decided to pursuse a new career in helping others naturally. My education has never stopped, and I plan to be a life long learner.

My therapeutic education includes certifications in a wide range of therapeutic modalities and other natural services to support your efforts to enhance your body, mind and spirit. I am committed to continue learning new therapies, mostly medically based, to integrate into your treatments. I believe that pain is caused by imbalances in the body.
It is essential to locate the CAUSE of your discomfort and formulate a treatment plan to resolve the issues.
I don't  buy into the theory of "no pain, no gain." It is possible to successfully resolve most soft tissue issues without inflicting high pressure and pain by incorporating neuromuscular and other therapies into your session.

Every session is customized to the needs of the client ~ every time, every client....no cookie-cutter therapies here!

Also, you won't get a 45 or 50 minute session. We schedule 35, 65, 95 and 120 minute sessions. All session 65 minutes or more, which are not specifically focused on a medical issue, include your massage, a mini reflexology session on hands and feet, head, neck and face treatments.
